Profits will be donated to "Support Your Sistah", a practical support fund headed by The Afiya Center (TAC) that works to provide multiple services-- including education, transportation and travel, judicial bypass support, childcare, and more-- meant to transform "the lives, health, and overall wellbeing of Black womxn and girls". I chose this organization because of their mission for reproductive autonomy, education surrounding pregnancy, abortion, and sexual education, and because it "is unique in that it is the only Reproductive Justice (RJ) organization in North Texas founded and directed by Black womxn".

As a queer, black young woman in Texas, I feel validated and hopeful by the work being done by TAC. Their efforts to help reduce the chances of medical gender and race-based discrimination while maintaining the fight for reproductive freedom speaks loudly in a time where we are seeing intersectional oppression, especially in black communities. I am happy to have this chance to clearly support somewhere that helps those already disenfranchised by the systems in America.
